More details about the gaming industry have surfaced in the wake of Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision, and now we have a more or less exact price tag on what the company had to shell out for the British developer Ninja Theory, known for games like Hellblade, Heavenly Sword, and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.
According to one of the partially disclosed documents, the deal cost them $117 million.
Ninja Theory is currently busy with Senua’s Sacrifice: Hellblade 2, which showcased an impressive yet somewhat lackluster trailer during the Xbox showcase earlier this month.
The game is set to be released in 2024. They are also working on the experimental Project: Mara, which, like Hellblade, aims to explore mental health and psychological horror.
