Guerrilla has achieved success with its two main games in the Horizon series, where players battle against mechanized dinosaur-like creatures in a post-apocalyptic world. It is already known that there will be more installments, but at the ongoing Develop:Brighton developer conference, studio head Jan-Bart van Beek revealed that they are planning a lot of content for a long time, as reported by Games Radar.
“We will continue it for a very long time,” said van Beek, stating that they have 16 plans in progress, although it is unclear exactly what that means. It is unlikely that they are already working on 16 full-scale sequels.
However, van Beek did discuss the multiplayer game that has been known since 2021. He described it as “a massive change for the studio, almost on the same level as making the first Horizon,” and “transforming all of this into a multiplayer experience is a completely new challenge for the studio.”
It sounds like Guerrilla is keeping busy.
