Last month, publisher Devolver Digital held a small showcase where they announced several delays. Fortunately, Gunbrella wasn’t one of the titles that won’t be seen this year, and now we know that the game is coming soon. It’s set to release on September 13th for Nintendo Switch and PC, and if you pre-order it, you’ll also get developer Doinksoft’s previous game, Gato Roboto, for free.
If you don’t want to buy the pig in a poke, they’ve also put together a new demo for the game that’s available for download on both platforms. In broad strokes, the game is a side-scrolling shooter where you use your bullet-spewing umbrella to shoot, slide, and slash.
Throughout the journey, you collect resources that can be invested in upgrades to make battling various supernatural monsters easier.
So, mark your calendar for September 13th for the release on Switch and PC. There’s been no word yet on a potential release for other consoles.
