Electronic Arts announced yesterday that they will undergo a major internal reorganization. This involves restructuring their major studios and leadership structure in an attempt to strengthen their creative team.
The reorganization also includes splitting EA Games and EA Sports. EA Games will be renamed EA Entertainment, suggesting that EA has plans to expand its business beyond games.
The two divisions will be more or less independent from each other, with their own budgets and leadership.
