Microsoft will soon release an expansion for its flight simulator, Microsoft Flight Simulator, which allows users to fly the “House Atreides Ornithopter” helicopter model featured in the Dune film series.
The expansion also includes new environments from the fictional Dune planet Arrakis, where you can fly the helicopter over a desert landscape. There is currently no information available on whether the sandworms that appear in Arrakis will be featured in the flight simulator.
You can find the trailer for the Dune expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator above. The expansion will be released in conjunction with the premiere of Dune Part 2 on November 3rd.
