For PC players eagerly awaiting the final version of Baldur’s Gate 3, the game will be released almost a month earlier on August 3rd instead of August 31st (to avoid conflicting with Starfield?). Unfortunately, PlayStation 5 players won’t be as lucky, as they will have to wait until September 6th to ensure the game runs at 60 fps.
Xbox players hopefully won’t be left out either. While Larian doesn’t seem to have any issues with Xbox Series X, getting the game to run well on Series S, especially in multiplayer and split-screen mode, has proven challenging. However, they are continuing their efforts and will release the game on Xbox when it’s ready.
Furthermore, the game’s content has been expanded, including raising the level cap from ten to twelve. Additionally, two new playable races have been added: dragonborn and half-orc, bringing the total to 11 races and 31 subraces at launch. For those who prefer shorter characters, the duergar is a new subrace for dwarves.
In terms of character classes, there will be 12 classes and 46 subclasses, including the new monk class. The monk is a blend of fighter and rogue, using ki energy for attracting, pushing, and performing melee attacks.
