Microsoft seems to embrace the fact that its failed MP3 player Zune, which attempted to compete with Apple’s iPod when it was released in 2006, is included as a joke in the latest Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
In the below ad, we learn that Microsoft has revived the Zune.net site where people can get help starting up their old Zune again. However, there is no chance that the MP3 player will actually be put back on sale, even though Microsoft has partnered with space industry manufacturer Redwire to create a 3D-printed prototype of the Zune player aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
