Soon, it’s time for the second season of Apple’s adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation trilogy, a story spanning hundreds of years and focusing on how the so-called Foundation will save the universe from chaos.
Apple writes about the upcoming season:
“More than a century has passed since the season finale, and tensions are escalating throughout the galaxy. A vengeful queen plans to destroy the Empire from within, and Hari, Gaal, and Salvor discover a Mentalics colony with psionic abilities that threaten to alter the entire psychohistory. The Foundation has entered its religious phase, and soon the second crisis becomes evident: war with the Empire.”
The second season of Foundation premieres on Apple TV+ on July 14th.
