Last year, a theater production based on Studio Ghibli’s acclaimed film Spirited Away was staged at the Imperial Theatre in Tokyo.
The performance has been a great success since its premiere a year ago, and it has also been recorded so it can be shown in cinemas. In the USA, it will be shown between April 23 and 27, with different actors from different performances on each date.
As you can see, it’s quite an ambitious production, which the source material definitely deserves.
