Warner Bros Discovery has now presented the service that will replace both HBO Max and Discovery+. The new name will simply be Max. The service will be launched in the USA on May 23.
The new service will offer existing content such as Succession, Game of Thrones, and The Last of Us from HBO Max, as well as content from Discovery+.
Subscriptions start with the cheapest option at $10 per month, which includes ads and allows viewing on two devices simultaneously in HD. The middle tier costs $16 per month, removes ads, allows downloading of 30 different titles for offline viewing, and enables viewing on two devices simultaneously in HD. The most expensive subscription costs $20 per month, and allows viewing on up to four devices simultaneously in 4K HDR with Dolby Vision, and also enables downloading of 100 titles.
