After several months of rumors and speculation, DC Studios announced last night who will be playing the lead roles in the upcoming Superman film, Superman: Legacy, directed by James Gunn.
Superman/Clark Kent will be played by David Corenswet, and Lois Lane will be played by Rachel Brosnahan. Both are relatively newcomers when it comes to leading roles in big films, as David Corenswet has mostly appeared in various TV series, with the most well-known for people here likely being We Own This City, while Rachel Brosnahan has achieved great success on the small screen with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
The script is written by James Gunn, and they will begin filming it shortly, as the film is set to premiere in the summer of 2025.
