Yesterday, Apple showcased the next version of tvOS for Apple TV, and the biggest news is that it will now be possible to make video calls via FaceTime on Apple TV 4K. With the new feature in tvOS 17, for example, you’ll be able to start a FaceTime call on your iPhone or iPad and then transfer it to Apple TV 4K to continue there. Another new feature is the ability to locate the remote control for Apple TV in a similar way to finding your iPhone, Mac, and other Apple products. tvOS 17 for Apple TV will be released sometime in the fall, but a developer version is already available today.
