Google has now started rolling out its updated Google Home app for all users. The new app features a new layout with five tabs. The app opens directly in the Favorites tab where you can pin your most used devices, actions, and automations, and view different spaces where devices are automatically grouped into categories such as lighting, cameras, Wi-Fi, and climate. These can also be rearranged and edited.
The app also includes an inbox for important updates such as device issues. An Activity tab is also available to find your device and camera history in chronological order, making it easy to see exactly what happened and when in and around your home.
