For me, tonight’s Xbox Games Showcase didn’t offer too many big bangers, but despite that, there were a couple of little gems to be found.
One example of that was Metaphor ReFantazio, developed by the creators of Persona. As you can see in the trailer above, it bears similarities to the Persona and Shin Megami Tensei games but still offers something new.
Another game that looked intriguing was Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. I must admit, I got really excited when I saw that it was Capcom, hoping that it was a new Onimusha game. Unfortunately, that hope quickly faded when it turned out not to be, but nonetheless, it still looks somewhat interesting.
SEGA was also present, showcasing a new game in the Like a Dragon series called Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. In this game, we will once again play as Ichiban, who seems to have ended up butt naked on a beach in Hawaii.
