Paradox has announced a new game called Starminer, and it lets us realize the dream of mining valuable minerals in space. The development is handled by Cool And Good Games, which impressively consists of just two people.
The game is set in real-time and allows us to build custom ships not only to mine and transport minerals but also to protect the fleet against the extraterrestrial threat that constantly watches how we expand in the vast void.
In addition, players can take on missions from other actors to earn some extra money. The money can be invested not only in new ships and other space machinery but also in researching new ship modules, tools, and ‘link gates’ to reach other parts of space.
Starminer is set to be released in early access on Steam next year, where it is expected to remain for about a year.
