Mortal Kombat 1 arrives on September 19, and now a few more characters have been confirmed. This is, of course, done with an extremely bloody trailer, featuring X-ray slow-motion that would make Sniper Elite jealous.
The main attraction in this round of fighters is undoubtedly Reptile/Syzoth, who has been part of the franchise since the first game. In MK1, he will be able to shift between his reptile form and human form, which can be used in his different combos (besides spitting acid on opponents).
Then we have the self-mutilator Havik, who doesn’t hesitate to tear off his own arm to use it as a weapon. Lastly, we see Ashrah, a demon in a more or less human form, achieved by purging most of the evil from her soul.
The game will also include what are called Kameos, secondary characters that can jump in for a few seconds at a time to deliver their own attacks. These will include Sareena, Scorpion, Cyrax, Kano, Jax, Sub-Zero, and Goro, among others.
