8BitDo, the company specializing in game controllers, is now releasing a receiver that allows you to use modern wireless game controllers with Sony’s game consoles, the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2, which Sony released in 1994 and 2000, respectively.
The receiver is called the “8BitDo Retro Receiver for PS” and supports connecting Sony’s wireless DualShock and DualSense controllers to PS1 and PS2, as well as several generations of wireless Xbox controllers, the Nintendo Switch Pro controller, the Nintendo Wii U Pro controller, and many of 8BitDo’s own game controllers.
The 8BitDo Retro Receiver for PS is priced at $25 each. 8BitDo has previously released similar receivers for the NES Classic Edition, SNES Classic, and Sega Genesis Mini.
