Mythforce draws inspiration from the superior children’s programs of the 80s and was released in early access on PC earlier this year. For those who didn’t get a chance to try the unfinished version, we now have an official release date for the game, namely September 12th. It will be available not only on PC but also on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Playstation 4/5.
The game features a roguelite setup and can be played solo or in co-op with up to three others. It takes place in the Castle of Evil, where a witch is causing havoc and must be defeated. As is common in roguelite games, the objective is to die periodically, but with each attempt, you become slightly stronger.
Players can choose to play as one of four heroes: Rico (rogue), Maggie (mage), Hawkins (hunter), and Victoria (knight), each with their own unique abilities and playstyles.
