There aren’t many things these days that aren’t spiced up with a bit of AI, and Samsung’s latest vacuum cleaner is no exception.
It’s called the Samsung Bespoke Jet AI and is said to be their most powerful model yet. They also claim it has the longest runtime to date. But what makes this one so smart? The vacuum cleaner is designed to figure out the type of surface being vacuumed and adjust its suction power accordingly. Thick carpet? Full power. Smooth floor? Gentle suction. It may not be a game-changing feature, but it’s useful to have.
It’s also Wi-Fi enabled, but of course, it is not a robot vacuum cleaner so you still have to physically move it around. Connecting it to the SmartThings app simply allows you to adjust settings remotely. When you’re done vacuuming, you place it back on its stand, and it automatically empties itself. However, you still have to empty the bin yourself.
