LG’s innovation division, LG Labs, has unveiled a new coffee machine called Duobo, which has a quite spectacular design. In addition to its unique appearance, Duobo can use the contents of two coffee capsules to brew the “perfect” cup of coffee for coffee lovers who are not satisfied with the content of a single capsule.
There is an accompanying app for Duobo through which users can start the coffee maker and mix the two capsules in the machine. This, of course, means that the coffee becomes twice as expensive and the machine also generates twice as much waste if the user wants the contents of two coffee capsules every time they brew a cup of coffee.
LG Labs’ Duobo is being funded through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. By joining this campaign, one can get a Duobo for around $400 with delivery in December 2023. When Duobo is released in stores, the price is expected to be around $800.
