Yesterday, Netflix released the first trailer for the animated series Onimusha, based on Capcom’s samurai game series of the same name.
This series will be directed by Takashi Miike, who some movie enthusiasts may recognize from films like Ichi the Killer, Audition, 13 Assassins, and of course, Dead or Alive. Sublimation Studio (which also produced the Dragon’s Dogma anime) is in charge of production, and as you can see from the images, they will be using 3DCG animation for the characters and hand-drawn backgrounds.
The series will be available on Netflix on November 2nd.
