This decision comes despite the announcement a few months ago that the series would be renewed for a second season, so it must be particularly disappointing for the show’s followers. The series was based on a novel by William Gibson and revolved around the young woman Flynne Fisher (Chloë Grace Moretz), who plays games in a virtual reality.
