According to the website Windows Central, Microsoft is planning to release a smaller model of the Surface Pro and a Surface Go 4 powered by an ARM processor. The new Surface Pro model will be 11 inches in size and currently has the codename Luxor. This device is expected to be more powerful than the Surface Go, which is about the same size, and have thinner bezels around the screen as well as 120 Hz.
The Surface Go 4 with ARM will use a chip based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7c. This will include support for 5G for the first time. However, there will only be minor design changes.
Windows Central writes that it is unlikely that the devices will be launched before the fall. Microsoft had originally planned to deliver the new Surface Go in the spring, but that plan is said to have changed now. Microsoft will also have to wait for Qualcomm to start delivering its new Nuvia chips before it can launch the next Surface Pro.
