If you’re a gamer on the go, you know just how difficult it can be to find a laptop that lives up to your standards. Graphics are mediocre at best, performance is often lacking, screen size is never big enough and let’s not even get into battery life. There’s nothing more frustrating than running out of juice in the middle of the action.

Enter the Gigabyte Aero 15. This baby is every gamer’s dream. According to Wired, the laptop “…combines high-end gaming framerates with good general application performance…” which are often problematic areas with other machines. Sounds too good to be true? It isn’t. The Aero 15 comes with the latest 7th gen intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, added HEVC10b and VP9 hi-def encoding and decoding capabilities. It also features the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GDDR5 6GB graphics combined with hi-res encoding technologies by Intel so you can make the most of your gaming (or working) experience.

The Aero 15 doesn’t cheat you on display size, either. The 15.6 inch machine boasts an impressive 15.5 inch of screen space (1920 x 1080 pixels), thanks to its ultra-thin bezel display. That is more screen than you would get on any other laptop of its size. It comes in three colors (green, orange and black) and is constructed of sturdy machined aluminum. One fun function is that every key on the keyboard can be custom programmed. Another is that the keyboard features full color LED backlighting.

Its battery life of 6 hours and 15 minutes is also one of the reasons this laptop rises above the competition. It is charged with the use of a cylindrical power adapter and is equipped with HDMI and mini-DisplayPort for video output. It has one USB-C port, three USB 3.0 ports and an SD Card slot. In short, this little (or rather large) gem has everything you could wish for at home or on the road.

Retailing for $1,899, Gigabyte’s Aero 15 is quite reasonably priced when considering all that it has to offer. Anyone interested in purchasing one can also be assured that they are buying quality hardware. The only downfall of this incredible machine is its weight. Even for a larger laptop model, its whopping weigh-in at 4.7 pounds is pretty much unheard of in this day and age. Do consider all its positive points, but if you’re travelling a lot, you may want to think about whether or not you’re up to carrying those extra pounds around.
