Yesterday, Ubisoft showcased some footage from an upcoming game in the Prince of Persia series, where the circumstances are a bit different from what they typically are.

In Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the prince has been captured, and it is up to the new hero Sargon and his group, “The Immortals,” to try to rescue him. In the trailer above, you can see how it might look when Sargon slaughters monsters and other creatures in environments reminiscent of ancient Persia.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on January 18th for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
