Amazon’s MMO, New World, has had its ups and downs. After a strong start, the player count declined, leading to server merges. Earlier this year, they announced a shift to a seasonal approach with new content coming every quarter.
However, there will also be more traditional expansions – at least one, which has now been announced. It’s called Rise of the Angry Earth and will cost around $30 when it launches on October 3rd. It will introduce a new chapter in the storyline, along with additions to gameplay mechanics, including mounted combat, increased level caps, and new equipment to discover and craft, including the new rarity level ‘artifact.’
