Amazon has unveiled a new tablet in its Fire series, and with its eleven-inch screen, it is the company’s largest tablet to date.
The Fire Max 11 has a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. The tablet features cameras on both the front and back, capturing photos and videos with an 8-megapixel resolution.
According to Amazon, the battery life can last up to 14 hours. There is also an accompanying keyboard case that transforms the tablet into a simplified laptop for those who prefer it. Amazon’s Fire tablets run on Amazon’s proprietary Fire OS, an operating system based on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).
In the USA, prices for the Fire Max 11 will start at $230. The accompanying keyboard case is available for an additional $100.
