Volvo has now opened the doors to a brand-new design studio in Shanghai. This location will complement the existing ones in California and Gothenburg.
In Shanghai, the entire design process from concept to finished product can be carried out. Full-scale models can be created for both exterior and interior design, as well as for color and materials. This also includes UX-related aspects. In addition to traditional clay models, they also have access to 3D printers and VR environments.
