ChatGPT is great at understanding what you mean and delivering an answer based on your question. That can’t be said for many of the voice assistants that are built into today’s cars, but that is likely to change. General Motors has now announced that they will be integrating ChatGPT into their cars in the future.
The idea is not only to be able to ask about the weather or have the car change the heat in the seat you’re sitting in, but also to teach the AI everything about the car. Hopefully, this means that you will no longer have to navigate through strange menus to find settings, and if something goes wrong with the car, it can provide an answer on what to do about it.
