The British startup Ark is now introducing its new model, Zero. It is an electric microcar that, with its price tag of £5,995, is claimed to be the cheapest car available for purchase in the UK.
Currently, it is only available for purchase there. For the money, you get a 2.2 kW/3 horsepower electric motor, a range of 81 km, and a top speed of 45 km/h.
This is essentially a quadricycle and not something you would take on the highway. The dimensions are 2.5 meters in length, 1.2 meters in width, and 1.62 meters in height.
As you can see in the pictures, there is room for two passengers, seated in a row.
