Microsoft has been consistent in providing the best Windows tablet and 2 in 1 laptop over the years with its Surface lineup.

They had made a trademark of inventing laptop tablet convertibles that have cutting edge hardware with smooth software experience. Microsoft is working on a new design expected to come out this year.

The last version which is Surface Pro 6 was the most wanted version of users because of its speedy performance and long battery life. But still others would love to see more improvements on the next generation of the product which is Surface Pro 7.

Expected Release Date of Surface Pro 7

As observed, the projected date lines up with company’s release pattern which is October since Surface Pro 4 and Surface Pro 6 was released October 2015 and 2018 respectively.

So, it is said to be that the release date for Surface Pro 7 would be late 2019 and some speculated that it would be mid of the year 2020. As for the pricing, the last Surface Pro ranged in retails for about $900 with 128GB of storage, 8GB Ram, and an Intel Core i5 processor.

The cost of other Windows 10 devices and laptops is often offset based on its internal components, so you can expect for starting configurations of the Surface Pro 7 to come in at the same $900 pricing.

The new patent details how Microsoft plans to use magnets to prevent the Surface Type Cover from flapping around when it’s not in use as spotted by Windows United.

There would also be a new USB-C port on the side, alongside the regular USB-a and Mini Display Port. They also moved the headphone jack down the bottom and adjusted the tab used to access the kick stand. A much thinner keyboard and an improve detachable design that more suitable to be used on a lap.
