Well, you can tell by the name – MCXtrema. Clearly, it’s extreme, and it’s actually the most extreme Maserati they’ve released so far.
The car is designed for intense track driving and is based on the MC20 model, which has then been given a completely new, more aerodynamic body and a massive wing on the rear.
The Nettuno V6 engine is still positioned behind the cockpit, and it has received new turbos, a new intake, and a different exhaust system that together help boost the power to 730 horsepower. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential gearbox. Thanks to a lot of carbon fiber, only one seat, and less insulation, the car weighs in at 1300 kilograms.
Only 62 units will be made, but the price for this toy is not disclosed at the moment.
