The Koenigsegg Gemera was unveiled in 2020, and on Friday, they opened up the factory where it will be produced. They also showcased the production version, which comes with some differences compared to the initial version.
You can still get the car with the unique little two-liter three-cylinder engine, which seems magical. Combined with electric power, it provides the car with 1,700 horsepower, which is enough to drive to daycare. However, if you want some serious engine growl, you can opt to get the car with a V8 instead. That will cost an additional $400,000.
If you don’t mind sacrificing cargo space, you can also order the Ghost Package, which adds a wing and improves aerodynamics but eliminates the front cargo area, among other things. The car has also been given the option of traditional rearview mirrors.
