Singer Vehicle Design is now showcasing two upcoming cars, both of which draw inspiration from the 934/5 racing car driven in the 70s. One is called Track and is more extreme, while the other is named Road and is slightly more discreet, although both are undoubtedly very muscular.
Both models blend elements from Singer’s previous projects, the Dynamic and Lightweight Study, and the Turbo Study. The result is referred to as DLS-Turbo.
Both cars feature wide carbon fiber fenders and substantial rear ends with air intakes. At the back, there’s a 3.8-liter flat-six engine that has undergone a thorough overhaul and is equipped with twin turbochargers. The power output is claimed to be 710 horsepower, with a redline exceeding 9000 RPM. A six-speed manual transmission is connected to the engine, which in turn drives the rear wheels. The wheels measure 19 inches in the front and 20 inches in the rear, with the rear tires measuring a whopping 345 millimeters in width.
A total of 99 units will be produced, but the pricing details are currently undisclosed.
