The American truck manufacturer, Mack, is now presenting its first fully electric truck. It has a rear electric motor that provides up to 264 horsepower and a torque of 2505 newton meters.
The range is expected to be up to 37 miles and the battery pack can range from 150 to 240 kWh. Unfortunately, it can’t charge faster than 80 kW, meaning that a “fast charge” can take up to three hours.
The truck bed can carry up to 8.8 tons. In terms of appearance, it looks virtually identical to its diesel-powered counterpart, and the design is certainly classic. Production will start in Virginia later this year, but we don’t have any price tags yet, unfortunately.
