Dodge has recently rolled out several versions of the Challenger model, and now it’s time for the grand finale, and as expected, they are going out with a bang.
What we have here is the Challenger SRT Demon 170, and it’s a serious muscle package with no less than a 1039 horsepower V8 under the hood if you fill up with E85 fuel. It does 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds, completes the 2,5 km in 8.91 seconds, and is said to be the production car with the highest g-force (2.004) during acceleration so far.
Buyers must sign a contract stating that they understand that the car has extreme performance and that it is essentially a drag racing car that can be driven on the street. The order books open on March 27th, and the price tag reads $96,666. 3300 units will be produced.
