Soon it’s time for a new epic journey, and this time the premise is to embark on a road trip that no one has ever thought of doing, and to do it in cars that no one has ever considered taking on a road trip.
The journey this time takes place in Central Europe and begins in Poland, continuing through Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia. The team will test the Soviet equivalent of Formula 1, be attacked by archers, and promise a Fast and Furious-worthy finale.
James’ car looks really mysterious, as does Jeremy’s. Richard’s Chevrolet SSR is probably not what many would consider the perfect road trip car, but it has its own charm. It’s a convertible-pickup with a metal roof and a massive 5.3 or 6-liter V8 engine. Not the most logical combination, but the result is quite fun. And expensive, the model cost from $41,000 when it was released. More about the car in the video below.
