The studio behind “Venom,” “Morbius,” and the “Spider-Man” films has more comic book adventures on the way.
Two new Marvel movies have just received their release dates. These are from Sony, the studio that holds the rights to Spider-Man and his rogues’ gallery. Could one of the movies be “Venom 3”? Very likely.
IGN has noticed that two new Sony/Marvel films are scheduled for November 8, 2024, and June 27, 2025, respectively. The latter is mentioned as a “live-action film”… so one can speculate if the first one will be animated? No other details have been revealed so far.
Sony certainly doesn’t lack new superhero titles, as they currently have the successful “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” playing in theaters. This fall, we’ll meet Aaron Taylor-Johnson in the brutal “Kraven the Hunter,” and at least four more films have been confirmed, including a “Venom” sequel without an official date.
Upcoming Marvel films from Sony:
• Kraven the Hunter (October 6)
• El Muerto (January 12, 2024)
• Madame Web (February 16, 2024)
• Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse (March 29, 2024)
• Untitled Sony/Marvel (November 8, 2024)
• Untitled Sony/Marvel live-action (June 27, 2025)
