A year ago, Williams Advanced Engineering introduced an electric vehicle platform called EVR. Now, the company goes by WAE Technologies, and what we see here is the new EVRh platform, which runs on hydrogen instead.

The platform features a composite monocoque, and where the 85 kWh battery pack was located in the electric version, there is now a complete fuel cell system. The platform can be equipped with electric motors delivering up to 585 horsepower, and it’s capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds, with both front-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive options.

Both the hydrogen tanks and the battery pack are strategically placed for optimal weight distribution, and the potential range with full tanks is estimated at 600 km.

The idea behind this platform is to allow manufacturers interested in quickly getting an eco-friendly supercar on the road to purchase one of these platforms instead of developing their own. A complete car using this platform is expected to weigh less than 1.9 tons.

The pricing and delivery details for these components are currently unclear.
