At the end of November, Porsche rolled out the new Panamera, and now it’s time for two new versions to make their entrance. Both are plug-in hybrids and are named the 4 E-Hybrid and 4S E-Hybrid.

Compared to their predecessors with the same names, these go further on just electricity, charge faster, have better throttle response, and improved driving performance. Both feature a new high-voltage battery of 25.9 kWh (gross) and there is a new onboard charger of 11 kW. The charging time is stated to be two hours and 39 minutes.

The former combines a twin-turbocharged V6 of 2.9 liters with a new electric motor, and together, the drivetrain produces 470 horsepower and 650 Newton-meters of torque. 0-100 km/h is achieved in 4.1 seconds, and the top speed is 280 km/h.

The range on just electricity has increased to 96 km. The latter version is a bit sharper, where the combustion engine together with the electric motor instead produces a total output of 544 horsepower and 750 Newton-meters of torque. 0-100 km/h is achieved in 3.7 seconds, and the top speed is 290 km/h. Both versions can be ordered today.
