Volkswagen is currently conducting final test drives of the next Tiguan, and now they have chosen to share some information about what we can expect.
This will be the third generation, built on the modular MQB evo platform. The car will be offered as a plug-in hybrid, and those who purchase one can look forward to a 100 km electric range. Other highlights of the new Tiguan include HD Matrix headlights and new adaptive chassis control. The interior has also received a new center console screen, new seats, and improved sound insulation.
The car will no longer be available with a manual transmission, as only the dual-clutch DSG transmission will be offered. The world premiere is scheduled for autumn, with the launch taking place sometime next year.
