Now there are images from the Chinese patent office showing what the Volkswagen ID.7 looks like without camouflage.
The car measures 4.96 meters in length, 1.86 in width, 1.54 in height and has a wheelbase of 2.96 meters. Under the hood is a rear-axle electric motor that delivers 204 horsepower. It is connected to either a 77 kWh or a 91 kWh (85 kWh net) battery pack. The larger one is expected to have a range of 700 km and be capable of fast charging up to 200 kW.
The official premiere will be at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 18.
