Students at ETH Zurich have set a new world record by achieving a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 0.956 seconds with an electric car.

This new record surpasses the old one, which was 1.46 seconds and was set last year by Foerderverein GreenTeam Uni Stuttgart e.V in Germany.

The electric car, assembled by the students, is named “Mythen,” weighs 140 kilograms, and is equipped with an electric motor in each wheel, generating a total of 326 horsepower.
