Tesla caused a stir in the electric car industry when it drastically lowered the price of the Model 3 and Y. Now it is also lowering the prices of the Model S and X, but so far only in the USA.
A Model S can now be had for $89,990, which is a $5,000 price cut from $94,990. A Model S Plaid costs $109,990, down from $114,990.
Last week CEO Elon Musk talked about the importance of cost cutting at the Tesla investor day.
The Model X now costs $99,990, a $10,000 reduction from $109,990. A Model X Plaid costs $109,990, down from $119,990.
