In the second half of next year, Opel will begin production of the successor to the Grandland SUV. It will be offered with electric power and built on the STLA Medium platform.

To make the car a reality, the company has invested over 130 million euros in the Eisenach Assembly plant in Germany. The platform provides a car that is between 4.2 and five meters long and has space for battery packs ranging from 87 to 104 kWh, which can provide a range of up to 700 kilometers. In terms of power, we’re talking about output from 170 to 449 horsepower. However, we haven’t received any specific specifications for the upcoming car yet.
