Lotus now reveals that the first half of their year has been a real success in terms of sales. In total, they have received 17,000 orders for the SUV Eletre and the sports car Emira.
The latter was launched last year, and so far, 2,200 units have been manufactured this year. The order books for the Emira are full for the next two years. The first deliveries of the Eletre started in China at the end of March, and the same will happen in Europe in a few weeks.
Future plans include a competitor to the Porsche Taycan and another electric sports car.
