Now, Jaguar’s new CEO Adrian Mardell confirms some details about the manufacturer’s upcoming electric cars. First up is a brand new four-door GT car based on the new JEA (Jaguar Electric Architecture) platform.

The car is said to have a range of 700 km on a single charge, cost £100,000, and is expected to be delivered sometime in 2025. The new model will be the most powerful Jaguar yet and the first on its own platform. However, the batteries will come from Tata’s factory in Europe.

In addition to this GT car, there are also two other electric cars in the works based on the same platform, but what form they will take remains to be seen.
