Gordon Murray Automotive is now adding a fourth model to its lineup, and it’s a Spider version of the T.33. It can’t really be considered a regular convertible, but more of a targa since you only remove two small roof pieces when you want to listen a little better to the V12 engine located behind the cockpit. Regardless, this is the one you can buy right now because everything else offered for the road is already sold out. But hurry, only 100 units will be made. They cost 1.89 million pounds each, but that hasn’t stopped people before.

For the money, you get a supercar with the same Cosworth-developed 3.9-liter V12 engine as the T.50, which produces 617 horsepower, 451 newton-meters of torque, and revs up to 11,100 rpm. The gearbox is, of course, a six-speed manual, even though the initial plan was to offer an automatic option. However, after some consideration, Gordon decided to skip this as a car that is meant to offer driving pleasure should be shifted manually.

The car weighs 18 kilograms more than the version with a solid roof, with a total weight of 1,108 kilograms. The roof pieces, which are of course made of carbon fiber, can be stored in the frunk when not mounted, and then there is storage for your items along the sides of the car behind the doors.
