The number of electric sports cars isn’t very high, even though there are electric cars that are really fast and have a lot of power. However, Cupra wants to offer something that looks completely outrageous, and that’s where the concept car DarkRebel comes into play.
The car was created in collaboration with Cupra’s Tribe members worldwide using the virtual configurator, Hyper Configurator. The concept is a so-called shooting brake, and it only accommodates two people inside. In addition to its edgy design, lighting takes center stage, and various lighting effects have been applied, including illuminated logos and ambient lighting inside.
The car measures 4.5 meters in length, 2.2 meters in width, and 1.3 meters in height. Whether this will ever be put into production remains to be seen. It’s likely that some elements of the design will find their way into future models.
