It’s not exactly unknown that Chinese automakers, led by electric cars, are spreading across the world.

In May of this year, China surpassed Japan as the world’s largest car exporter, and I myself have lost count of how many different Chinese electric cars are now available. The company BYD (Build Your Dreams) has a clear goal, and founder Wang Chuanfu recently expressed how he envisions moving forward – by outshining the established giants in the industry.

He wants China’s automotive industry to collaborate in achieving this and believes that the time is now for Chinese brands to take the lead.
